Introducing Data Unlocked by Justin Locke

Some brief introductory comments about this blog and its focus.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  As a brief introduction I thought I’d write a little about the purpose of this blog.  It’s pretty straightforward.  The purpose of this blog is to document whatever is on my mind (translation: I could be all over the place).  However it’s safe to say what I am usually most interested in is data and finding ways to “unlock” the data and retrieve the ‘knowledge nuggets’ contained within, hence the title “Data Unlocked”.

Sometimes the blog will be references to other content creators: website, blogs, podcasts, books, scientific papers, social media posts.  Other times it’ll be my own content either in written form or chart, tables, or perhaps even computer code.  In this way the blog is closely really more of a ‘data journal’.  

The intent is then to have a place to store and clarify my thought process.  It also provides me the tools to exercise (and hopefully improve) my writing skills and of course my hope is that I might find an audience of people that find the same stuff I find interesting.
